Patrick Illidge

GREAT BAY, St. Maarten (Monday September 10, 2012)-Independent Member of Parliament Patrick Illidge in his address on Monday spoke about the infrastructure of government. He stated that they as the people in power need to set the trend, and guide this country in a way that the people will benefit.

”I asked to have an inquiry into GEBE, and up to date we have not seen anything tangible happening with GEBE”. “Other places can produce electricity must cheaper than St. Maarten, what is the problem with St. Maarten”? “St. Maarten is a duty free port, so how it is that cost of living is still so expensive on St. Maarten?” he questioned.
