GREAT BAY, St. Maarten (Saturday, August 18, 2012) -During Thursdays Windward Island Chamber of Labor Union Press briefing , President Theophillus Thompson mentioned that a detailed discussion was held with Deputy Prime Minister William Marlin regarding GEBE and the refusal of management signing the Collective Labor Agreement (CLA).

Thompson said that Minister Marlin will look into this matter, and expects and speedy solution. “The meeting was held on Wednesday, and we’ll be in touch with the minister sometime next week to see is conclusion on our discussion”.
