The following is a letter written by Joan Verwoord of Miss B’s to the Executive Council of St. Maarten regarding the current situation on Dawn Beach.

I the undersigned would here by like to thank you for the renewing of my vending license to operate on Dawn beach. Based on the new license Ms. B’s have agreed to down size her business from selling of food and drinks, to only doing chairs and umbrellas. Also in the new license, I’m only allowed to have two rows of chairs and umbrellas (with a limited amount) including being restricted from a second job or income.
